Sesame Soy Baked Salmon

This is my go-to soy-sauce based salmon recipe. It’s sweet, tangy, savory, and packed full of flavor. I make it in bulk a day or two before I want to eat it, and keep it in the fridge. To be honest, I prefer it cold. Mix the sauce with some mayo and skip the rice to make an Asian-inspired salmon salad.

Ingredients

  • Salmon
  • Soy Sauce
  • Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Sesame Oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Brown Sugar
  • Green Onions
  • Cucumbers
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Rice

Directions

  1. Combine 1c soy sauce, 1/4c sesame oil, 1/4c brown sugar, 2 tbs olive oil, 2 tbs rice wine vinegar in a bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Pour sauce over salmon. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  3. Marinate up to 2 days.
  4. Place salmon and sauce in an oven-safe dish and bake at 350 for approx 12 minutes.
  5. Serve with cucumber, green onions, and rice. Garnish with sesame seeds.
