Photographer

I’ve always had a camera in my hand. My mother is a photographer, and I was lucky enough to get her hand-me-down cameras. From film to DSLR, and now mirrorless, all photos you see on my website are my own.

Chef

Both my grandmothers were chefs; I was raised in the kitchen. With homecooked Jewish food made with French techniques, and the international-influence of my South African side, I was exposed to an amazing set of food growing up.

These days, the dishes coming out of my kitchen are what I’d call California food. A focus on local vegetables, fish, and dairy, with a lot of Asian and Mexican influence. It represents California in all its diversity, from the people to the food.

One day, I’ll open a restaurant. Undoubtedly, some of the food I make today will be on that menu. You can check out some of my plates on my Menu below.
